Are you stitching along with the #MachineQuiltingBlogHop? We started on Monday, and we are working our way through The Ultimate Guide to Machine Quilting by Angela Walters and Christa Watson. It's so much fun! AND, Martingale has the book on sale through the end of the month-- go order a copy if you haven't already!
Now, you know my #100daysofstringandstory videos that I have been doing a LOT of machine quilting. I think I have three quilts in the midst of being quilted, and I'm trying to practice every day (or at least 5 days each week) all the way through the blog hop. We're going for 10 weeks, so that will add up to a LOT of practice and hopefully a LOT of progress!
In addition, this is my second busiest time of year for tshirt quilts because of Mother's Day, Graduations, and Father's Day. Last week I took y'all through the steps of making a rag style tshirt quilt via Instagram videos, and I'm already up to my eyeballs in the next quilt. I love to go back and forth between tshirt quilts and machine quilting-- they balance each other well.
Everything else is on the back burner this week while I get the tshirt quilts done, but En Provence and Florida are calling to me from the design wall. I hope they get some love soon.
