The Ultimate Guide to Tshirt Quilts by HollyAnne Knight of String & Story

To be perfectly honest, not much sewing happened this week. Not in a measurable, "look I made a thing" kind of way, anyway. However, there are a couple of highlights I want to share with y'all. The one complete thing that I made this week was the 25-square rag style tshirt quilt above. At a glance, it may look like any other tshirt quilt, but this one is significant because it's my last tshirt quilt. After several years and HUNDREDS of tshirt quilts, this is the last one that I'm making for the general public. It has been a joy to make memory quilts, celebration quilts, and just because quilts for all my customers, but it's time to focus on patterns and other resources for y'all. Speaking of, if you have kids or grandkids with special shirts or jerseys that they want to preserve, my Ultimate Guide to Tshirt Quilts Ebook contains all my secrets for making both rag style and traditional tshirt quilts.

Granny Squares for the Moda Bakeshop Choose Your Own Adventure QAL by HollyAnne Knight of String & Story

The other sewing I managed this week was starting the next round of the Moda Bakeshop Choose Your Own Adventure QAL. I have been sewing up a storm this weekend on Granny Squares, hoping to have a whole round to show you, but the weekend got away before I got them done. I'm almost there, but for now, here's a little tease of how cheerful these blocks are going to be!

This next week, I'm hoping to do more free motion quilting. I'm feeling rather rusty! Plus, we'll soon be quilting Lanterns of Hope, and I'm getting SO EXCITED and want to make sure I'm at my best to guide you to quilt with confidence!

Finally, at the time of this posting, tomorrow afternoon is the beginning of Amazon Prime Day! Woohoo! I wanted to let y'all know that I've made a special page of my favorite quilting Amazon picks, just in case you're doing some shopping and want to pick up some quilting treats as well. This page will always be available to you, but it seemed like a great moment to let y'all know!
