The Log Cabin is a classic quilt block, and it has been one of my favorites since even before I started quilting. The straight lines are perfect for beginner quilters– both to practice piecing and to practice free motion quilting sashing and border motifs. Whether you’re making a fast finish or your first, precious quilt, a Log Cabin is a fun, enjoyable quilt to make.
