  • When cutting strips:

    • Colors 1 & 2: cut 7 (11, 14, 23) 2 1/2 x WOF strips

    • Colors 1 & 2: cut 3 (4, 5, 7) 5 1/2 x WOF strips

    • Color 4: cut 22 (34, 45, 70) 2 1/2 x WOF strips

    • Color 4: cut 4 (7, 9, 14) 5 1/2 x WOF strips

  • Subcutting

    • Colors 1 & 2 (Queen): Cut 128 each of the 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 in rectangles and 3 x 3 in squares

    • Colors 1 & 2 (King): Cut 200 each of the 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 in rectangles and 3 x 3 in squares

Star Island

Correction to yardage & cutting instructions for Color 4:

  • Small Throw: 1 yard, subcut in to 4 strips and 27 squares

  • Large Throw: 1 1/2 yard, subcut in to 7 strips and 48 squares

  • Twin: 2 1/2 yards, subcut in to 13 strips and 90 squares

  • Queen: 3 yards, subcut in to 16 strips and 108 squares

  • King: 3 1/2 yards, subcut in to 21 strips and 147 squares

Cutting corrections for the 3 inch strips of Color 5:

  • Small Throw: subcut in to 3 strips and 36 squares

  • Large Throw: subcut in to 5 strips and 64 squares

  • Twin: subcut in to 10 strips and 120 squares

  • Queen: subcut in to 12 strips and 144 squares

  • King: subcut in to 16 strips and 196 squares

Sirius

  • Cutting instructions for 3 1/2” squares of color C: 16 (48, 96, 160)

Lumber Jane

  • Baby Quilt:

    • Cutting: Cut one 5 3/4” x WOF strip and one 5 3/4” square (instead of 4 5/8”)

    • Cutting & Piecing: Replace all 3 1/8” and 2 7/8” measurements with 3 1/4”

    • Sub Cutting: Cut 12 each Color B and Color D 2 1/2” squares

    • Large flying geese (page 9) will use 1 Color A 5 3/4” square and 4 Color C 3 1/4” squares

    • Small flying geese (Page 10) will use 1 Color C 3 1/2” square and 4 Color A 2 1/8” squares

  • Throw Quilt:

    • Cutting:

      • Cut 2 6 ¼ x WOF strips

      • Cut 12 each Color B & Color D 4 1/2” squares

  • Bed Quilt

    • Cutting: Cut 12 each Color B & Color D 6 1/2” squares

  • Page 6:

    • Assembling the Buffalo Plaid: Follow the ADAD + BCBC assembly order of the second diagram. the first (still disassembled) diagram in the center of the page shows DADA.

    • Piece only one BABA strip to sub-cut 4 BABA rows

  • Page 7: Make 28 flower 9-patches. Trim to 3 1/4” for the baby size.
